Kelsey Fredericks

Kelsey grew up in Warren, PA, which serves as a gateway to the Allegheny National Forest. This allowed her to gain a love and appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Since coming to Behrend, she has been active in helping the campus become more sustainable. For example, she has been a member of Greener Behrend since her freshman year. She joined the Sustainable Food Systems Program crew to learn more sustainable practices and help the Behrend campus and local community adopt their own practices. She hopes this internship will provide her with knowledge that she can apply as she continues her education.
